With close to picture perfect weather the 18th Annual Endless Summer Cruisin brought thousands of car enthusiasts to Ocean City Maryland October 8-9-10-11, 2015. From wild customs, to cool classics, trick trucks and more, all could be seen cruisin the streets as well as participating in car shows at the Inlet, Convention Center and various satellite shows throughout the city including, Hooters Restaurant, Gold Coast Mall, the Marina Deck, Phillips Seafood House, Phillips Crab House, Seacrets, Tanger Outlets and more.
Joining the fun at this year's Endless Summer Cruisin, from the hit TV show All Girls Garage, was Rachel De Barros. Rachel was at the event Friday and Saturday signing autographs, posing for pictures and talking about her love for cars. Rachel even enjoyed selecting and presenting trophies to winners on Friday at the Inlet. Also adding to the excitement was Joyce DeWitt, made famous for her role as "Janet" on Three's Company. Joyce did several meet and greets as well as talked about all the fun they had on the set of "Three's Company." Banners signed by Rachel DeBarros and Joyce DeWitt were auctioned off on Sunday and over $1,500 was raised for the American Cancer Society.
In addition to Endless Summer Cruisin, the 35th Annual Hot Rod & Custom Car Show took place inside the OC Convention Center Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Some of the best rides in the mid-Atlantic were on display. Cash prizes were awarded to the elite 8 and trophies were awarded. Plus insdie the Convention Center participants and spectators could check out the Endless Summer Pit Stop where they could try their skills at the Micro Stock Car Racing and Tire Change Challenge.
Some of the top National names in the country were on display at Manufacturers Midway located at the Inlet parking lot including ACCEL Performance, Adam's Premium Car Care, Chevy Performance Exhibit, Flowmaster Exhausts, King's Creek Plantation, Maryland Lottery, Miller Electric, Optima Batteries, Radley Chevrolet, Slide-Lok, Summit Racing Wissel & Walsh Insurance and more.
One of the highlights of Endless Summer Cruisin is always the boardwalk parades. Parades took place Thursday, Friday and Saturday mornings at 8am. It was so nice to have the sun shining as the cars cruised down the historic OC boardwalk.
Friday night the LED and Neon Light Show took place on the Boardwalk at South First Street. Spectators walking the boardwalk could see the cars light up the night pus Trimpers Rides opened the Mirror Maze for all participants to enjoy free of charge.
Throughout the weekend there was live music by Golden Touch and Mook Jones plus Deejay Michael Jay spinning Golden Oldies and Celebrity Stars Deejay Tim Beasley playing good time rock n roll.
On Sunday the show wrapped up with the Grand Finale Awards. By the end of the event over 400 awards were presented and over $10,000 in cash and giveaways.
